Free ERP as entry-level help for e-commerce beginners

From now on openWaWision 3.17 is free for use. The updated open source version of WaWision ERP has ten new features for example, calendar, and team organization and integrated video support.


WaWision ERP is a product of the Augsburg Embedded Projects GmbH, which originally started as a hardware production with its own online store. When the Startup found no ERP system that met their needs, the founders developed even a matching software. Meanwhile, the company focuses exclusively on the ERP system with its own Appstore. Twice a year WaWision launching a free open source version, with startups and small companies in the e-commerce industry can do more to manage key business processes such as master data management, supply and procurement, invoicing, inventory control, shipping, time tracking, and more.

The new openWaWision 17.3 offers ten new features, including the integration of the product tree, creating calendar groups and the direct sending invitations from the team calendar. In addition there are extensive formatting capabilities in the quotes, orders and invoices as well as a built-in video support. WaWision (free download) runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux servers or in the cloud.

OpenWaWision 17.3 for beginners

With the open source version of WaWision startups and small businesses receive functions for key business processes such as inventory management, invoicing and team functions. Who needs more extensive modules can always upgrade to the Professional or Enterprise version. In the Professional version WaWision is connected to its own app store, so that new modules and interfaces to online shops, marketplaces and payment providers with just a few clicks can be integrated. The Professional version with Support Package costs uniquely 595 euro for five users.

New features that are included in the open source version:
